The Roosevelt Hotel opened its doors on May 15, 1927, and it has always occupied a special place in Hollywood's history. The 1st Academy Awards presentation was held in the hotel's Blossom ballroom in 1929, Clark Gable and Carole Lombard paid five dollars a night for their penthouse, and frequent guest Marilyn Monroe purchased a full-length antique mirror for her favorite suite! The Roosevelt Hotel is located at 7000 Hollywood Blvd, between Highland and La Brea.
If you're traveling from the south, take US-101 North to exit 8B for Hollywood Blvd. Turn left onto Hollywood Blvd, the Roosevelt Hotel will be on the left.
If you're traveling from the north, take US-101 South to exit 9C toward Highland Ave/Hollywood Bowl. Merge onto Cahuenga Blvd W, continue onto N. Highland Ave, turn right onto Hollywood Blvd, the Roosevelt Hotel will be on the left.
You may also take the Metro Red Line, exit at Hollywood/Highland.
If you don't wish to valet your car there are several public lots near the hotel. The largest is at Hollywood and Highland.
