Join us Saturday, October 6, 2012 for a pre-Halloween tour people are dying to take. The 2 to 2-1/2 hour guided walking tour explores the early pioneers who mapped Hollywood, and those stars and movie moguls who put Hollywood on the map. Tourgoers can expect an historical perspective of Hollywood within the 113-year old cemetery from the Victorian, Art Deco, and Modern tombstones-- and the stories they tell.

Tours depart every 20 minutes from 10 a.m. until noon from the fountain inside the main gate. Please note the last scheduled tour leaves at noon.

Comfortable walking (flat) shoes are recommended since this is a walking tour with sometimes uneven ground. Since October can be warm in Los Angeles, we also suggest wearing sunscreen, and/or a hat. Bottled water will be available for purchase, or you may bring your own. A camera is also fun to bring to capture the final resting places of your favorite stars or architectural details.

Tours begin inside the main gate at 6000 Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood. Ample parking is available on the premises. Please follow parking instructions because Hollywood Forever is still a working cemetery.  The cemetery often reserves areas of parking for funeral services.

Tickets will become available on August 31, 2012 via Brown Paper Tickets.  You will not receive a physical ticket, rather your name will appear on the list at the door of the event.

Art Deco Society members are FREE! Current members, in good standing, need not purchase tickets. Upon arrival you will be admitted to the first available tour.
